Washing Muslin
Pre-Wash (Optional): Softens new fabric and removes residues.

Washing:
Machine: Use a gentle cycle, cold/lukewarm water, and mild detergent (no bleach).
Hand: Soak in cold/lukewarm water with mild detergent, gently agitate, then rinse well. Avoid wringing.

Drying:
Air Dry: Lay flat or hang in a shaded area; smooth wrinkles while damp.
Machine: Use low heat; remove while still slightly damp to avoid shrinkage.

Ironing:
Iron on low-medium heat while slightly damp. Use a pressing cloth to protect the fabric.

Storing:
Keep in a cool, dry place. Fold neatly and avoid heavy items. Wrap in acid-free tissue for long-term storage.

Tip: Use color-safe detergent for colored muslin and handle gently to preserve shape.
